HOMECOMING DANCE for 9th-12th grades will be held in Cope Coliseum on Saturday, October 19th from 8:30-11 PM. Students must arrive to the dance by 9:00 PM in order to be admitted to the dance. Out of school dance guest forms are due to the office by 3:30 this Thursday!
Spirit Catholic Radio will be broadcasting from Kearney Catholic on Wednesday October the 16th from 6:45 AM to 9:00 AM.
Gold Sign-Ups for Students are in the office!
TICKETS for the Homecoming Dance: will be on sale in the foyer after school each day this week from 3:35-3:50. Ticket prices will be $5 in advance and $10 at the door.
Friday October 18th will be a normal uniform day. The Foundation will be here to film promo videos and a video for GOLD. GREEN KTC shirts may be worn with uniform bottoms.
SOPHOMORES are traditionally asked to provide refreshments for the Homecoming Dance. Because of the large sophomore class we have this year, we've decided to change it up a bit rather than just have cookies. This year, we are asking sophomores to provide the following: Last names A-L: 1 dozen cookies; Last name M: 24-pack of bottled water; Last names N-Z: 12 pack of individual-serving size prepackaged salty snacks (chips, goldfish, nuts, crackers, Chex Mix); Snacks can be sent to school with students next Thursday or Friday and can be dropped off on the counter in the teacher's lounge. Looking for childcare volunteers! St James is offering a class for adults on Monday evenings for the next 5 weeks. We offer free childcare and need volunteers from 5:50-7:40. Please contact Kristi Svec at 440-0645 if you are interested. Thank you!

G.O.L.D. Hospitality Room Donations G.O.L.D. hospitality room provides meals and snacks for the student and adult volunteers who help set up during the week and or work at G.O.L.D. on Friday, November 22nd, 2019. Kearney Catholic families are asked to help provide food and drink donations for these volunteers. Donations can be dropped off in the school foyer starting Monday, November 18th and will be completely picked up by noon on Wednesday, November 20th. Culture of Life Presentation by Teresa Kenney, Nurse Practitioner Teresa's objective of the talk is to ENGAGE, EMPOWER and EDUCATE students and families about God's Plan for Marriage and Family Life. The presentation is Wednesday October 16th at 1pm and parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
FRESHMEN PARENTS are asked to chaperone the Homecoming dance each year. Please email Mrs. Presser at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would be willing to do this. The dance will be from 8:30-11 on October 19th.
